"$13 billion is a lot of money. Steve Ratner, who posts this post behind me about the vast amount of investments that are coming in from foreign governments to the Trump family is really disturbing. It's stealing really from us and we don't want to have a president and his cronies and family getting rich off being president. But there's something even more concerning here. This is money going to the president and his family from foreign governments. And that calls into question whether the president of the United States is really working in some way for these foreign countries. Is he a sort of independent contractor for Middle Eastern countries who want to affect our policy? Can we know that the president's decision to raise tariffs, lower tariffs, go to Bomb people is based on the best available decision making and the interests of the United States? Or does it have something to do with that $13 billion in investments? We've seen this overseas. When authoritarian regimes arise, they come in often a flavor also called kleptopathy. That's a government based on theft. That's what we're seeing here."
