"Hi everyone, I'm Dr. Nick Cerica and you know my co-authors and I, we really wanted to dive deeper into this recent decline in the ABEM qualifying examination pass rates and we wanted to learn more about the perspectives of our program leaders, you know our program directors in terms of what they thought it was that was driving this change over the past several years with this multi-year decline in pass rates and we wanted to know more about the makeup of our programs what it was that we thought was playing a role in this decline so we developed a national survey and we sent that out to program directors across the country and we just wanted to know more about what they thought and we found a lot of really interesting things and I think the qualitative results in particular were super interesting in terms of learning more about what our program directors think about this phenomenon so I hope you all check it out and please reach out anytime if we can ever answer any questions or talk more about the topic so we appreciate you."
