"Your kid is in their 20s now. You figured you were done paying for them. A new survey says otherwise. Wells Fargo asked over 3,700 American parents one question. Is your child, somewhere between 18 and 28, financially on their own yet? Most answers weren't about cars or vacations. They were about rent, utility bills, and the weekly grocery run. The result? Out of every 10 parents with adult children, six said their kids still depend on them to get by. It's not that these kids are lazy or living large. Wells Fargo found that money goes almost entirely toward the basics. 56% of those same parents admit this support is draining their own finances. 18 used to be the finish line for raising a kid. For millions of American families today, that line has moved. And no one said when it stops."
