"You're here, you're making history, this is the very first show of the brand spanking new Levin and Manchester music series. Give yourselves a round of applause. We are so excited that you are here, that you're taking a chance on this newest summer tradition here in downtown Manchester. My name is Matt Wilhelm, I'm a state representative, I am a City or New Hampshire alum, and I'm one of the organizers of this new concert series here on Thursday nights in Veterans Park. First of all, I want to recognize all of the incredible community support that we've received from businesses, from the city of Manchester, from non-profit organizations to help make tonight and the next eight Thursdays possible here in Veterans Park. Please support these artists, both Manchester's own Donaher and Dyer Davis, who came all the way from Jacksonville, Florida to be here with us. It's their first time in New Hampshire and we want them to come back, and this is a three year grant. We have eight shows this summer, we're going to do another eight plus shows next year, and in 2028 we're excited to see Veterans Park come to life and really grateful that all of you have taken a chance on this experience. There's plenty of things you could be doing on a beautiful Thursday night and you decided to be here. Next week we have a really high energy show, Gentlemen Brawlers is going to be coming from Brooklyn, New York. It's Afro, Indie Funk. Now the moment that you're all waiting for, we are so excited to have Heather McGrail from the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Jody Nizaka from Manchester Economic Development Office. I'm so excited. We have cities since our chamber talks with our peers nationwide that are completely envious of this opportunity and I really want to thank Matt Wilhelm and Jen Little for all their hard work. I'm going to hand it over to Jody. All right, I am standing in for our beloved Eric Lesniak and I hope I can bring as much energy as he does to these types of things, but before I get started, I just want to close out with a thank you. Thank you to City Year, to Matt. This is an amazing public-private partnership. Thank you to the Manchester Police Department, but mostly thanks to all of you, also Parks and Recreation too, but thanks to all of you because I don't know if you're aware of this, but the only reason this was made possible was because the residents and the visitors to Manchester voted for this. This was a stiff competition. We were up against the entire country and because Manchester turned out and voted for this, that's why we have this opportunity for the next three years. So thank you to all of you. Thank you for being here on this beautiful summer night."
