"Hi I'm Madison Rogers and I'm currently here in Syracuse. We are standing on the corner of Adams Street and Walnut Avenue where they are currently updating the sidewalks and the crosswalks here. They have put in new push buttons to try to increase the public safety surrounding Syracuse University. Now as you can see there is one here they put one over here and also down Adams Street they've also updated the ones down there. Now if you come with me here you can see that the crosswalk is working quite well and these kinds of things are usually installed after fatalities or large accidents. After I talked to a construction worker yesterday they said that this project was advised by the city and aesthetically they also are fixing the grass that they tore up when doing this project.
