"We still live in a racial society, and I believe it's gonna be this way for a long time. However, we have pockets of individuals like Colin, like his lady, like you, like me, like this team, who are fighting, and we must continue to fight. My area, my weapon of choice, music. Black music. Black music. Black music. I know the power of this music. Yes, and Black Music Month was actually around before Juneteenth was celebrated by the federal government and other things. Even Pride, I think Pride wasn't acknowledged by the federal government until much later. It definitely wasn't in the 70s. So how has Black Music Month evolved now, and I understand Black Music Month has an official home now, right? Yes, the official home of Black Music is the National Museum of African American Music. I'm a proud founding board member of this entity. You've been, so you know what I'm talking about. It's 56,000 square feet. Some people, when they hear museum, they think, no, this is a contemporary, modern, state-of-the-art museum. That's what blew me away how modern and digital was. You can listen to music and just see all the stuff and exhibits and different things. So it's in Tennessee, you know, people can check it out. Nashville, Tennessee, Fifth and Broadway. It is across the street from what's called the Mother Church in country music. It's the Ryman Auditorium."
