"Today I wanna go over the fundamental reason for engaging the triceps themselves and targeting the triceps on a separate training day. So I wanna go over the benefits that come with engaging this muscle and targeting this muscle specifically and what you can think about when you are working on building a very structured workout routine. One thing that you may not be aware of when it comes to the triceps is that the triceps can actually make the arms look bigger themselves. The triceps has three different heads of the muscle itself. And so when you engage this muscle, it develops the, of course, back portion of your arm, which in itself, when you think about that, when you're engaging the triceps along with the biceps, you are developing your arm in a more fuller manner. Another thing to keep in mind is that engaging the triceps can actually help with pressing strength. So this is, of course, helping with workouts that involve presses, like your chest presses, incline chest presses, any workout that involves a pressing movement, your strength is going to be improved when you focus on engaging the triceps. And of course, this is going to transition into anything that you perform in everyday life. One thing you may not be aware of is that when you are developing the triceps and really engaging the triceps, you are also helping to protect your shoulder joints and build a more solid shoulder joint health. So keep that in mind as well, is that it's not only about developing the strength of the arms, but also protecting your shoulder joints themselves."
