"That's something I think about a lot, actually, in my own work archiving and licensing visual media. How much of our cultural memory depends on someone, somewhere, deciding a moment was worth preserving. I've traveled the world. I've covered war zones. I've covered famine. I've covered refugee crises. I've covered natural disasters. I've covered sports. I've covered entertainment. I've covered all of these areas. And the biggest thing that really drives me to continue doing it is the fact that we need to preserve and document the current day. Because one day that will be what's looked upon and what's looked back at to look at our history."
