Ever wonder how your insurance estimate is generated? Wonder no more…
"Come build an estimate with me. First, I enter the information and then I sketch out the roof. I add all the facets and adjust parameters. Here is how it looks in 3D mode. In the estimate tab, I add the individual line items. I adjust the quantities, operations, including notes for clarification and custom pricing if needed. I do this for every area I'm estimating. Once at the bottom of the roof area, you'll see I have two gutter line items. This is because I'm detaching and resetting undamaged gutters and removing and replacing damaged gutters. It brings up an error to let me know I have the same item. Then I adjust quantities and add notes. Next, I sketch the interior. I'm just making up rooms to show you the process. Here is how it looks in 3D mode. Moving back to the estimate, you can see all the rooms are populated. Now, I can add my line items, adjust quantities and operations. Finally, I add my notes. I do this for every room that has damage. Now, we're ready to generate the estimate report. You can see it is detailed with all the information and line items. At the end, we can see this would be over $60,000 in damage."
