First, actually climb into the aircraft and start the battery, then arm the emergency exit lights, and flip these two switches to turn on more electrical systems on board, then turn on the no-smoking and seatbelt sides. Next, turn on the fuel pumps and turn on the APU, which stands for auxiliary power unit. But you probably already knew that. Turn on the window heats and turn the ILS switches to nav. Next perform the required test before starting the engines. And hey, did you know most of my viewers don't know how to start up a 737 MAX? Well if you were to press that follow button you would. Anyways, next configure your autopilot. I will make a more in-depth video on that soon. Most important for now is to select your cruising altitude, which in my case is 35,000 feet. Also make sure to put that altitude here, so that the aircraft is well pressurised for such altitudes. And under that select your landing altitude, which is the height of the airport at which you will be landing, in my case 900 feet. Also flip this switch to turn on the flight director. It calculates the exact pitch and roll the plane needs to fly. Reset the master caution and configure your flight plan. I will also make a more in-depth video on that, however it is pretty much just setting up waypoints. Once the APU has turned itself on flip these two switches, set the packs to auto as well as the isolation valve and turn on the APU bleed. Request pushback and turn off the parking brake, open the isolation valve, turn off the packs and turn on both engine bleeds so that they are provided with enough air. Next select the left engine and flip this knob into the ground position. Turn on these lights in the meantime, wait for 20% and introduce fuel into engine 1. Then turn the first generator on and wait until this knob turns back off and repeat the same process with engine 2. After that set the packs to auto, isolation valve to auto and turn off the APU bleed and the APU itself. Turn your damper to on and flaps to 5 degrees and you are ready for taxi entangle."
