The Abu Dhabi transit card is sold at the train station, but not near the bus stops. So it was fun to find out that my transit card from a previous visit expired and so I missed the last bus departing from the stop adjacent to the train station.

It's understandable why the current launch is considered preliminary as it's definitely a new thing for UAE, this whole passenger train thing. Besides, the main route for sure would be Dubai to Abu Dhabi.</p>
