The Abu Dhabi transit card is sold at the train station, but not near the bus stops. So it was fun to find out that my transit card from a previous visit expired and so I missed the last bus departing from the stop adjacent to the train station.

The sand in the display of the map is from each different emirate. The stalls with coffee and stuff around were closing pretty much immediately upon train arrival.

The train goes up to 200 kph. Not the smoothest ride (look at the water level), but seems alright.
