With the beautiful weather, festivals, and parades this season offers, it's a wonderful time to go outside and spend quality time with our friends and loved ones. Sometimes the energy and excitement of gathering can lead to choices that are not reflective of our best selves, so we wanted to take a moment to remind folks to have fun and be safe. A poor decision made in a moment can lead to unintended consequences that can follow you for much longer. For example, being charged with a felony could lead to losing scholarships, losing eligibility for financial aid, being barred from obtaining professional licenses, and even working in health care or nursing homes. A momentary thrill is not worth it. There are plenty of ways to be safe and have fun. Have a safe and wonderful summer. We'll see you outside soon."
