"hopefully I'll be finished by Friday there's still a lot of work to do on it on this picture and but I am working my way down to the Hawaiian shirt which is also going to present issues because it's all flowers and hibiscus and and that's got to be hand drawn as well so what I'm doing at the moment is trying to work my way to the top layer but I'm about mid layer now and you have to make sure that you're not making it too dark I mean the picture that I've got and it's got a background and I'm trying to blank out that background it would have been easier to put the background in because it would have balanced everything but there's it's this picture of Robin for this year it's a premiere I'm sure it's a premiere picture and it may have been for Aladdin but there's a head on one side you just see the ear that's this you just see that and I don't really want to put that in the main focus has got to be Robin in the picture it is but I've got to do it like this now when you've got a black background and you're changing it to white it's it's a lot harder you have to use educated guesswork and the color balance well the tone balance can be slightly off it's just through being used to doing this that I yeah I can do it anyway that's where I am at the moment and it'll be for Robin's birthday on July 21st"
