"Pete Hegsath has been doing all of this performative BS, the talking about stupid rules of engagement and diminishing the Geneva Convention. He's doing all of that with this idea of lethality in mind and combat ineffectiveness. At the same time, he's implementing policies like no flu vaccines at boot camp and we're seeing cadets and recruits in San Antonio drop like flies. One of them is dead. We're not sure yet whether it's from complications of the flu, but hundreds were sickened during basic training. It just puts the lie to this notion that any of this is really about making the military stronger. Dr. Chet Haase Right. He can't win an actual war, so he's trying to fight a cultural war. He's losing both because here's the deal. Science is science. Okay? It is what it is. I would love to sit there and tell you, yeah, if you don't take a vaccine, that the force is going to be fine because you can pray it away. Okay, sure. We have just presented you the evidence that you're an idiot. Okay? And you quietly, no press conference, no speech about how we're going to take out the enemy of influenza. No bitch, you lost."
