"Moana, the live-action remake of Moana. Disney is one of Disney's biggest animated movies of recent years. They did a sequel to it, which came out last year, the year before, and Moana is huge, but Disney being Disney, they like to make as much money as humanly possible and pull as much money out of your pockets as they possibly can. So Disney and now other studios are doing live-action remakes of their animated classics, and there's absolutely no reason for them for the most part. Some of them are okay, but most of them are bad. They're all corporate money-grubbing movies that exist simply to make you spend money at the box office. There's nothing really new about them. I hate the idea of these stupid live-action remakes of classic animated films that add nothing to it. Moana is one of those. Dwayne Johnson is in it. It's got an interesting cast, some really good unknown actors that are actually well cast in terms of their race and their backgrounds, and so it's refreshing to see that. But it's a carbon copy of the animated movie. If you've seen the animated movie, there's a couple of new songs in this one, but if you've seen the animated movie, you've seen this movie, and it just falls in into the long line of these unnecessary money-grubbing ripoffs that are live-action versions of animated movies that don't need to be made. Moana falls right into that category. It's unmemorable. It's repeated. It's nonsense. Just get and watch the original animated movie. Absolutely no reason for this movie to be made except to get more money from us."
