My politics. We need to be doing everything we possibly can to mitigate AQ and GHG pollution!
"Y'all wanna see something fucking crazy? Look at this shit. I don't know if you can see this, but here in Washington, D.C. the temperature outside is 98, feels like a hundred eleven. The fucking heat for tomorrow is a hundred base. So this is probably gonna go up to feel like a hundred and fourteen, and then on Friday it's a hundred base as well, and we got some thunderstorms, I guess. But my point in showing you this is to tell all of you that there is not one Lick of use that comes in listening to any candidate for any office, I don't care, local, state, federal, whatever. That is not saying the following. The climate crisis is the most important issue that humanity has ever faced, and there is no turning away from it. This is the most lethal issue of our time. There is no economy without even beginning to solve this issue, and it is not enough to just incrementally slow down how much we are fucking overheating this big ball of water and gas. We have to talk seriously about de-growing the economy, which only over-extracts, over-produces, over-consumes, and over-wastes. There is no time. This is lethal heat. If you were a two-year-old child, if you were immunocompromised, if you were disabled and couldn't move as fast, if you're an elderly person, this heat will fucking kill you. And it's now. It's not in 2050, it's not in 2100, it's now. And there is not one fucking mainstream Democrat who is supposedly supposed to be adults in the room that has any answer for this that doesn't at least still shovel billions of dollars to the oil and gas companies. The only answer forward, at the least, is some form of eco-socialism. That is baseline. That is base fucking line if you want to live."
