A lot of people in NYC are praising Mayor Mamdani for allowing them to go to their closest fire stations and request a fire hydrant spray cap that the firefighters will come turn on and then the kids and adults can play in the water

So now we're just waiting on the really nice firemen to come and open up the fire hydrant and install the fire hydrant cap, and then the kids and me are gonna have a lot of fun splashing around the water. We did it!"
