"This next school is so centrally located that you can hear the quiet hum of the tube underneath the school building and visiting during a heat wave we were very grateful for the air conditioning. Welcome to MPW London, a college designed very much as a stepping stone into top universities, which you can see clearly in their how-to guides in the welcome area written specifically by the school to help prepare students for the next step. Inside it's modern but still holds onto clear hints of its historic roots. With a maximum of 9 students per class but an average of 6, everything is set up more like a business seminar which gives it that grown-up university style feel. Creativity is everywhere here, from the ceramic studio to art textiles and the photography darkroom, alongside a really wide range of extracurricular activities for students to get stuck into. They even have access to a local gym, all part of the package. The teaching staff are subject specialists, bringing real depth and passion into the classroom, and tutors even create their own self-guided resources to help students prepare for exams. On top of that, every student has a one-to-one mentor or coach they can access whenever they want."
