"IR is if you took a camera to a space and took a picture of it, that's kind of what IR is. Every choice that you make in that process, like the distance from the speaker to the microphone, the spread of the microphones to themselves, and those distances, they all kind of factor into the final output. I'd imagine like you're making a stencil effectively. A stencil is a pretty like open-ended thing where the size can be any size, the shape can be any shape, you kind of have to dial in what you want specifically out of your IR before you go out and set out to do it."
