"Software versus services. That is for me the big dichotomy in the legal market right now. Is a vendor delivering software, which I define very specifically as being a tool that lawyers use to work better, faster, whatever? Or are they delivering service, meaning you pay for that outcome? You're not paying for a tool and then hoping that your team can make use of it. You pay for an outcome, and if that outcome's not delivered, then your vendor's not fulfilling the statement of work and you don't pay. That's the distinction. And Flank squarely sits on the services side."
