Part 2!
"So yeah, I'm, I'm feeling kind of anxious, but I look over and they've got a little table set up with like a bunch of foods and stuff. And there's like a dude already there like pouring himself something in a red solo cup. And so I'm like, okay, so I shuffle my way over there. And like, I wait for the guy to finish. And I'm a good boy. So they have a tip jar. And I'm like, okay, I put a fiver in there because like, I'm gonna absolutely pour myself more than $5 worth of liquor to ease my social anxiety of being in an unfamiliar place with a bunch of unfamiliar people. So yes, I do that. And I start pouring myself a drink. And behind me, I hear, hey, this guy's pouring himself a drink. And then like, I feel like every eye in the party is on me. And the bartender rushes over who was not at his post. I don't know who that was in front of me that poured themselves a drink. But apparently, that was not okay. There was a bartender whose job it was to pour people drinks. So yeah, very like, curb your enthusiasm. We're like, dude in front of me got away with it. And then it was my turn. And then of course, no one saw me put any money in the tip jar, right? They're just watching this dude like pour himself a heavy, heavy drink in a red solo cup. So yeah, that was that was mortifying. They were very sweet and very nice, though. And we talked briefly, like I didn't want to like, immediately run out because I'm like, I don't know where my friend is. I just want to get out of here. But like, already, I was the dude who poured himself a drink. So like, I thought I like pause to like talk to them for a little bit. And then I slipped out as quickly as possible. So there you go. That was the most awkward, embarrassing moment I've ever had at a con so far."
