"Light rail is experiencing a major disruption today due to an earlier train mechanical issue near University of Washington station We apologize for the inconvenience and we do want to warn you this is going to take quite some time to resolve as we have To both move the damaged train out of the way and then conduct inspections and make repairs to the overhead contact system But in the meantime there are shuttle buses running between Capitol Hill and Northgate to get you where you need to go and Trains are still running from Capitol Hill towards Federal Way on the one line as well as between Linwood and Northgate and on Two line from downtown Redmond to Capitol Hill although every other train is stopping at Judkins Park We understand this is an inconvenience But it's also a safety issue and we are grateful for your patience as we conduct these repairs and get trains back up And moving in the future.
