People need to understand that racism and misogyny are deeply intertwined and individuals who exhibit these traits, or have Nazi tattoos, are not to be trusted on BOTH.

"Graham Plattner is completely unfit to serve in the US Senate and it is wild. There are people who don't understand that. And this isn't the fault of the Democratic establishment. The Democratic establishment didn't hold that man down and tattoo a Nazi symbol on his chest and then leave it there for 18 years. The Democratic establishment didn't make all of those Reddit posts, some of which are racist. Do you realize that if Graham Plattner wins the primary, this will be the first time that either party puts up a candidate that has a Nazi tattoo on their body? It's a little hard to maintain that high ground of calling out the rampant racism and sexism and like the actual problem with Nazis in the Republican party when we would be the first actual party to try and get someone elected who has a Nazi tattoo. And the Democratic party, which is a coalition of people that are organized mostly around civil rights, cannot welcome in someone who may or may not hold Nazi ideologies. Well, he says people lie. Well, he's against the genocide. Are you sure about that? Because the tattoo that he had on his body for 18 years was worn by the SS who worked specifically at the death camps. Well, he's really critical of Israel and he doesn't take any AIPAC money. Have you stopped to ask yourself why? Because the rationale behind that would dictate policy going forward and it may not be the same policy that you want. Marjorie Taylor Greene is also very critical of funding Israel, very critical of accepting AIPAC money. That's because she's a raging anti-Semite. Now, I'm going to set aside the fact that I don't believe for a single moment that he didn't know what this tattoo was when he got it. I am going to set aside the fact that he chose to look at it every day for many years after he supposedly found out about it when most decent people would say, Hey, I would rather take a cheese grater to my skin and walk around with a Nazi symbol tattooed on me. I am choosing to set aside the fact that he only chose to get this covered up when it became public knowledge during a Senate campaign. And I think that most of us, if we were covering a hate symbol on our body, we would do research about whatever it is that we are covering it up with to make sure that this never happens again. So either this man is just playing in everybody's face or he is one of the dumbest human beings. This is just a piece of life advice. If you're getting anything with Celtic symbols or Norse mythology, you should check that to make sure that it's not been adopted by hate groups. If this man had done a single Google search, he would have found out that Finner, the character that is now tattooed over the Totenkopf, was used as an anti-Soviet piece of Nazi propaganda and has since been adopted by skinheads. So yeah, if you live in Maine, your job is to elect the one person who is definitely not a Nazi. The bar is in hell. I hope that you all can clear it."
