"What does erasure look like? What does misogynoir look like? What does misogyny look like? What does femphobia look like? What does transphobia look like? What does, you know, anti-blackness look like, right? I think for many people, they will see it and they'll just go, oh, it's homophobia. And I'm like, nah, babe, it's more layered for that, right, what are the intersectional oppression pieces that Kimberly Crenshaw talks about in all of the things that we see and we take in in media? And so I think that's the reason why I really enjoy the being, you know, when people say, oh, John's an edutainer, exactly, that's exactly who I am. Polish, owning our narrative."
