"The River Pool in Bromley. Exilic for a walk on a summer's day, but this is where thousands of dead fish and critically endangered eels were discovered in an as yet unsolved pollution incident. It was obviously a matter of great concern to hear that this incident happened and to see the loss of aquatic life that's taken place as a result of it. The affected stretch three kilometres downstream from Beckenham to Lewisham. Well it's clearly a really tragic incident and it is shocking to residents. Beckenham is a really green area and that's part of what makes living here so great and residents just don't expect to see this sort of incident taking place."
