The cheap version of Ford's story: replace expensive engineers with AI, book the savings. The real version: 11 million vehicles recalled, then a quiet scramble to hire 350 of those engineers back. Once the veterans returned, Ford topped J.D. Power on quality. Experience wasn't the waste.

AI is not your moat. Everyone can call the same model. Jason Cohen (WP Engine, Smart Bear): customers never wanted AI, they wanted what was impossible before it. AI for beginners stalls near 80%. The moat is execution on a narrow customer. #startups #founders
