Today marks the 6 month anniversary of Renée Good’s killing in Minneapolis. Until there is accountability in these cases, our communities cannot heal.

"Today marks six months since the killing of Renee Good by federal agents in our state and in our county. I was the first candidate for Hennepin County Attorney to lay out a plan for prosecuting those federal agents for the harm they caused in our community. I didn't do it out of political expediency. I didn't do it to gain political points. I did it because I was there with the community and it is what they demanded. Accountability in order to move forward with the process of healing. I am your DFL endorsed candidate for this race. Please remember when you vote, flip that ballot over. My name is on the back and please vote. If you want to see the work of prosecuting these federal agents to hold them accountable, carry forward with the new Hennepin County Attorney. I am your person for that job."
