"It was a very big loud sound like a bomb. Pradeep Kumar and his wife say they just gotten home from church when a massive fireworks explosion blew out his neighbor's windows across the street and injured the three young brothers that live there. When it blew up, it broke the window and then there's some, you know, the siding. It broke the sides too. Kumar sprinted over to help the Children and found window glass shattered on the porch and window frames bent inside. And so the Children, they were bleeding. So the first thing I did was call 911 neighbors say the blast was so strong it set off other nearby house and car alarms. That was a big bang. And you know, because the youngest one, he was all covered with white like substance from his face down. Both the younger ones, they both were hands were both wrapped. Kumar says the oldest brother was also injured blood here and on his face. Fire chief pat Pollock says the firework was lit on or near the front porch and blew up right away. He said the kids are all 18 years or younger. Fireworks are definitely, you know, dangerous and and and within split seconds can definitely change your life. He says if you find an unexploded firework, do not touch it. Instead, called 911 Pollock went on to say fireworks are illegal to discharge in Kent. The hearts that Puget's on fire certainly go out to the three injured people as well as their family. It's really sad, you know, especially when it's Children. As for what type of firework it was and where the kids found it, fire officials say that's still under investigation. I just wanted to make sure that, you know, parents watch the Children and, you know, educate the Children about fireworks and any things that like that. So this doesn't happen to any other Children in Kent. Jennifer Dowling, Fox 13 News."
