Actually, I give my flowers to all those black women who, like, I want you to understand when I'm not here at the tiny desk and I'm out in the world and I don't have these shades on, I'm just treated like any other black woman or any other black queer person. And so for those who aren't seen, those who don't feel special, that's who my flowers go to.
