"imagine having a resource for more than a decade and all of a sudden you get a message saying that that resource will no longer be available in the coming months. Well that is the case for the RPG Maker forums at the end of 2026. They will no longer be up and active. There is another resource that is officially coming out for kind of a fix to the situation, but it's not perfect and there is also a group of volunteers that is working to make sure that they have these resources secured in their own way. There was like a lot of stress and like sleepless nights but like I actually didn't doubt for a second that the community was going to come together immediately and figure out what to do. We're gonna have everything backed up. The question then kind of becomes of how easy is it to find that, how easy is it to use those resources, to find the resources you're looking for, and how are those solo projects going to be sustained for the future to come?"
