"Right now in California, four state lawmakers hold all the power when it comes to antitrust legislation that is moving through the California House of Representatives. Big Tech is fighting this bill like crazy. They are throwing so much money at these lawmakers in order to stop this antitrust legislation. Why am I telling you this story? Well, because typically antitrust legislation happens at the federal level, but because of the massive amount of corruption going on within the Trump regime, now antitrust law enforcement is happening more at the state level. So if California state reps pass this bill, it's going to give them more teeth to go after the big tech bad guys who just keep monopolizing and growing like Google and Meta and the platform I'm recording this on and where you'll see this. Because what these guys do is they blow out smaller businesses, they fix the market, they rig it, they raise prices, and they knock out the smaller guys. You see this happening all the time. And so they are trying to make legislation so that smaller guys will be able to thrive and not always be knocked out by the big tech bad guys. OK, so this is important because no matter where you are, now it's going to be up to the state representatives who will hold the power. I'm in the South and right now there is a massive gerrymandering effort going on with the Republican Party. I am asking for you for this 4th of July weekend, for this independence weekend or holiday, to please go to the link in my bio where it says, y'all vote for the South. It's going to take you to a link called vote, y'all vote for the South. Please go and choose at least a couple of candidates in the South from Texas running all the way up through North Carolina. These are state candidates. They don't have access to a lot of money and they are running to get into state House of legislators or Senate seats. Some of them are running for appeals seats and judges. We need these people to fight for our democracy. It's going to be at the state level, you guys, where democracy is either won or lost. I am not kidding. And it doesn't matter if you don't live in a state like Tennessee or North Carolina or Texas or Florida or whatever, what happens there is going to impact all of us. So please, to celebrate this weekend when I know a lot of us are feeling really down and feeling depressed, go to the link in my bio and put in some money. My goal is to raise $250 for America's 250th for these Southern candidates who are running to hold back fascism. And I'm depending on you to do it.
