"San Antonio lost a beloved fried fish restaurant in April and by June it was already back. I'm Pollyanna with MySA and we're rounding up some of the biggest restaurant openings and comebacks from June 2026. The lighthouse seafood resurfaced after a short-lived closure to relocate to a new home after 10 years off Fredericksburg Road. Thankfully the locally cherished fried fish haven only moved up the street. Bella Green staged its own comeback on Broadway after taking an extended hiatus to wait out construction on the Jefferson Bank building. Over on the far northwest side, the Portico, a brand new shopping center, saw several of its tenants open including brunch favorites like Box Street All Day and Crippuccino. Speaking of brunch, June saw Sunny's All Day Brunch open its second location at the Rim in San Antonio one year after launching the first in Bernie. We've got a different roundup of June's biggest restaurant closures waiting for you on MySA.com."
