While bite-sized in comparison to Buc-ee's, The Texan has drawn comparisons for its similar clean bathrooms, branded merch, grab-and-go meals, massive fountain drinks and multitude of snacks. First opened in Yorktown in 2008, The Texan has expanded to 16 gas stations between San Antonio and Houston.
