Tobias Harris is officially headed to San Antonio after averaging 13.3 points and 5.1 rebounds last season with the Pistons. While it may not be the splashiest move of the offseason, the veteran forward brings 15 years of NBA experience to a young Spurs team looking to take the next step. ๐Ÿ€โ›น๏ธ

"The Spurs just got a whole lot tougher. I'm Nate Rodriguez-Lamayasay and welcome to The Rebound. San Antonio has officially signed 15-year veteran Tobias Harris, who has played more than 900 games in his regular season career and scored more than 16,000 points. Last season with Detroit, Harris averaged 13.3 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game, while also shooting almost 48% from the field, something the Spurs did struggle with this postseason. Harris is also one of the handful players who has played in more than 150 games in their postseason career. Now, although the move isn't as flashy as some may hope, it does give Wimby and the Spurs the chance to take the next step in the West, adding a proven veteran who can score, defend multiple positions, and mentor the young Spurs roster in the locker room, which makes this one of the most important moves for the Silver and Black this offseason. For more on all your Spurs coverage, be sure to follow Mayasay, and as always, go Spurs, go San Antonio."
