In the wealthiest country in the world, no one should be forced to choose between paying for groceries and getting the health care they need. #NHPolitics

"I know a lot of people think that Donald Trump was the only one who made cuts to the Medicaid program, but the truth is, Kelly Ayotte joined right in. The cuts that she made are cruel. An individual making only $16,000, $16,000 of income for the whole year, they're going to have to pay an extra $720 a year just to keep their health insurance, and a family of four making only $33,000 a year is going to pay an extra $1,200 a year just to be able to take their kid to the doctors. And that's on top of her prescription drug copay increases that are already in place. She doubled the cost of prescription drugs for the most vulnerable granite staters. Listen, I've been in health care my entire life, and I know what this does. People don't get their health care, and then ultimately they end up being sicker in hospital emergency rooms with long hospital admissions, and it costs everyone more. It causes an enormous amount of unnecessary human suffering. We need a governor who actually is working to make health care more accessible and lower cost for granite staters, not one who's trying to make it more expensive."
