And what I am realizing now is that the thing that gets people to change their mind is not history. It's not morality or ethics, even. It's not doing the right thing. It's seeing something in front of you in real time that is undeniable. And that's why information control is so important to power. If you think about what happened with Israel and Palestine, anybody who has found even an hour researching that situation in the past could tell you what was going on there. But people weren't going to do that. What really changed their mind is seeing people live stream a genocide on their phones. It was right in front of them. It was parents picking up their children's body parts in plastic bags after their homes had been bombed. Seeing that, visually seeing that in front of their eyes and knowing it's happening now is what got people to wake up. Similarly with China, what got people to change their minds about China? Well, two things. One, a popular live streamer went there and live streamed the whole experience and people saw with their own eyes the technological development of China. And people started using the Chinese social media app Red Note and saw firsthand as well what the quality of life was like for the average Chinese person and saw that it was better than the quality of life in people in the West. And that's what got people to change their minds. It was happening in front of them in real time. Visually, they could not ignore it. But what this means ultimately as to get the general public to support a place or a group of people, they need to see one of two things. They either need to see that place being totally destroyed. Remember, Palestine was experiencing this persecution since the first Tanakhapah. They were experiencing it for 70 years. It took a live stream to genocide for people to pay attention though. Or they need to see the opposite. They need to see that place totally winning. And China, I think we all can agree is totally winning. They are winning right now. This is the American century of humiliation. So what does that mean for a place like Cuba or a place like North Korea, where based on the experiences they have had historically, the massive amounts of violence done to them, the control, the coercion people have tried to have over them, the information control, the massive economic blockades against them that have completely hindered their ability to develop? What does that mean for these countries who are thankfully not totally destroyed, but also are not really in a position where they can be seen thriving the same way a country that hasn't had to deal with so much constraint and restriction is? For them, thriving is just surviving the West, the global North, the USA. How do you get people to be on the right side of history about a place like that? Now, what's interesting about North Korea is that despite the total economic blockade against them, they have somehow started recently to maybe thrive.
