"So this year, we're working on initiative 195, which if we place it on the ballot this November, we'll replace Colorado's flat income tax with a graduated income tax structure. Colorado is one of only 14 states that uses a flat income tax, whereas there are 28 states that use a graduated tax, including 11 red states. And so this is not a radical policy idea. This is a very normal way that states, both red and blue, do income tax policy."
