"Call me crazy, but I think one of the things that is not going to survive the AI revolution is Git. I'm working on a web app project with two other people right now, and we're each creating like 20 to 30 PRs per day. PR checks take 15 to 20 minutes with playwright tests and everything. We want linear history, which means one PR merges, you have to rebase or merge the other, and then restart the checks. And because people are creating PRs at different times all throughout the day, it's not super predictable. We're kind of capping out at around 50 PRs per day. So that's the PR issue, but another one, I have to clone the same repo like 12 times on my computer to be able to work in like one agent working in each simultaneously. I don't know, it's just so obviously a process that was not built with AI coding in mind. Someone's gonna create the new Git. Git's gonna be replaced."
