"Here's how to respond to both sides are bad without feeling like you're giving a TED Talk. First, a question, bad for whom? Both sides aren't equally bad because they both annoy you. You don't like politicians? Cool. You think the Democratic Party is flawed? Cool. But the consequences are not equal. One side makes you roll your eyes. You think they're performative. The other side is actively attacking your rights, blocking healthcare, targeting immigrants, attacking queer people, gutting public education, dismantling our democratic systems, and killing U.S. citizens. So when someone says both sides are just as bad, ask them for whom? Because far too many people are confusing, this all feels so messy and stressful, with there is no meaningful difference, and there's a huge fucking difference."
