"It's okay to be learning alongside your child. So if you are in a relearning season about any part of faith, how scripture works, who God even actually is, learn with them. You don't have to hold off until you've got it all locked down as if passing on faith was about having something like an heirloom that's intact and precious and you just hand it off to them. You can learn with them. And it can be more like molding a pot out of clay on the wheel. And if your clay has flown off and is a big blob of the ground, that's okay, you can rinse it off and pop it in the middle and form it right alongside them. And even as you do, that is actually a gift to your kid. Seeing faith in process is a gift to them. It helps them understand that theirs will also always be in process too. And that doesn't mean anything is wrong with them. And it doesn't mean that God has failed them. It's just part of it."
